In a previous post, I shared the origins of Duly Organized. Now, I'm excited to tell the story of how we got our name.

As we ventured into the business world amid the pandemic, our attention naturally turned to the realm of home office design. With the global shift to remote work and virtual learning, our goal was clear: to help people create workspaces that were not just functional but truly magnificent. Inspired by my own last name, Ragland, I coined the term "Ragnificent" Designs – a playful fusion of my identity with the concept of magnificence.

However, fate threw us a curveball. To my surprise, someone had already snagged the domain name and was asking for a hefty sum. A tough blow, especially when grappling with unemployment. Investing so much in an elusive concept seemed impractical and surreal.

Disheartened but undeterred, I thought the universe was hinting to reconsider this entrepreneurial journey. Yet, amidst the uncertainty, inspiration struck again – this time, more fittingly. As a natural organizer, the revelation hit me – DULY ORGANIZED. A quick search confirmed my intuition – a name untouched, unclaimed.

But, before claiming it, I needed to ensure it wasn't just a fortunate coincidence. "Duly noted" was a phrase I had heard, but "duly organized" needed validation. So, I delved into the meanings, and Oxford provided the clarity I sought.
