I am going to share a little secret with you about how your camera can help you declutter your spaces and make them clutter free.

Do you often overlook the clutter in your home, thinking it's manageable? It's a common issue many of us face. To tackle this, embark on a simple yet effective experiment to transform your perception of cluttered spaces.

Start by selecting an area in your home that seems relatively clutter-free. This could be any space you believe is "not too bad" in terms of clutter.

Now, take a step that might seem unusual: snap a photo of this area.  Photography is a powerful tool in revealing the true extent of clutter. Spend some time – maybe a few minutes or even a day – examining this photograph. What do you notice? Often, the clutter that seemed minor is now glaringly apparent, captured in its full, chaotic glory. This moment of realization might even prompt you to question, "Is this really my space?"🤣

This phenomenon is similar to what is known as "nose blindness," where we become accustomed to familiar scents and stop noticing them. In the same way, our visual perception becomes immune to the daily clutter around us. We mistakenly believe that if we can function amidst this disorder, it's not a problem. However, this is a clear sign of becoming "clutter-blind."

Overcome your "clutter-blindness" and use photography to guide your decluttering process. This approach is not just about cleaning up; it's about refreshing and rejuvenating your living space.
